Sam was rescued off the streets with multiple bites on his neck. His wounds had gone untreated for so long they were necrotic and infested with maggots.

At the veterinary hospital, doctors cleaned Sam's wounds. He will receive sutures and drainage along with medication to clear up and prevent future infection. Infusion therapy will help counteract the general intoxication in his body.
